In the past twelve months, driving in Germany have risen by 4.2 percent. In contrast, the general cost of living has increased since March 2010, only 2.1 percent. The decisive factor for the sharp rise in prices is mainly the fuel prices, which rose by 11.2 percent. The car cost index, published quarterly, the ADAC in cooperation with the Federal Statistical Office is to ensure that in 116.2 points, the cost of living index at 110.3 points.
