Last Sunday in Rome has seen a great event featuring the Lancia Thema, the flagship of the eighties remained in the hearts of many car enthusiasts of the Italian brand. Central event in the relay - "LTCI - Born To merge" - organized by the Club Lancia Thema Italy to celebrate the century and a half drive of our country.
With a parade of 34 specimens of Lancia Thema, the Club dedicated to the car was received by President of the Chamber of Deputies received a plaque as a special gift. Then the group of cars moved from the Circus Maximus to the streets of the Eternal City Hawks escorted by the Municipal Police, and between the eyes of curious tourists, to round off his career with a deployment flag in front of Palazzo Montecitorio, where he seat Chamber of Deputies.
An initiative that will continue outside the walls of the Capitoline - Roman was the third step in the program - as explained by the President of Italy Lancia Thema Club Pierpaolo Berardi: "This relay race of vintage cars in nine months will travel far and wide the boot, taking the flag in all regions.
" An initiative of the rest that have already received the patronage of the Presidency of the Republic, President of the Standing Committee on Tourism and fashion capital of Rome and the Chamber of Deputies. In addition to the tricolor flag relay race of vintage cars take you around the beautiful country the symbol dell'Anffas Ostia Onlus, the Lazio coast institution for the protection and care of people with disabilities.
