Shanghai Motor Show 2011: Kia introduced the K2, four-door version of the Rio

At the Shanghai Motor Show was presented the new Kia K2, a new four-door model of the Rio, that more attention will remember seeing the last Geneva Motor Show. The K2 is a Kia sedan compact three volumes designed for the Chinese market. The K2 is a car that has four doors and is in addition to the range of Rio.

The plant chosen for the production of Kia Dongfeng Yueda K2 is of Jiangsu and the chain will open next June. The Kia will be K2 4.37 meters long, 1.70 meters wide and 1.46 meters high, for a total pitch of 2.57 meters. Large boot space, which has 500 liters. Under the hood of the Kia K2 are two different petrol engines, the 1.4 with 107 hp with manual and automatic transmission and 123 horsepower from the 1.6 with automatic transmission.

For the moment there was no mention of diesel engines in the future, although probably the Kia K2 will be updated with other engines.
