Top Marques Monaco 2011: R230, a mid-engined 500 Abarth

From April 14 to 17 at the Top Marques Monaco will be presented to the central engine R230 advanced technical features. The engine and R230 will be presented by Aznom from Lucarelli-Monza. This engine originated from the Abarth 500. Certainly the original Abarth 500 was amended by the engineer Lucarelli in some of its components, such as the traction is back, the rear suspension geometry earns a double wishbone and the four-cylinder engine is transferred to the central part of the car body and then the rear seats are sacrificed.

The 1.4-liter engine in this new version is able to supply an output of 230 hp and maximum torque of 330 Nm the engine becomes more powerful and in parallel the braking system adapts to the characteristics of discs from 335 mm to 'front and 305 mm at the rear. As for the interior design and these are managed by Aznom according to the instructions of the 30 clients that feed into the annual production.
