Porsche's growth course in the U.S. market to continue: In June 2011 the number of deliveries to customers in the U.S. with 2546 vehicles is 18.9 percent higher than the value of June 2010. Particularly high was the demand for the Cayenne series. Of the sports utility vehicle in June 2011 a total of 1009 units were delivered to customers in the U.S., which compared to the same month last year was more than twice as much.
The 911 with 596 vehicles sold, registered an increase of 9.6 percent over June 2010. From the mid-engine Boxster and Cayman sports cars were delivered in June 2011 a total of 332 vehicles. This represents a decline of 8.3 percent over the same period last year. Of the Panamera series were 609 vehicles in the month to U.S.
customers, a decrease of 17.6 percent compared to June 2010. Sales of the Cayenne had lain in June 2010 due to the very strong sales launch of the Panamera V6 to a high level.
