Chrysler announced it directly from the mouth of the CEO Sergio Marchionne has said it was necessitated an increase because many of the electronic components of the bill are Japanese Jeep.

In particular, audio and multimedia systems that are located on the dashboard that would boost the price of the Jeep about 10%. The supplies from Japan in fact suffer a firm of about 100 days and many car manufacturers that use Japanese products are now forced to deal with the non-delivery.

Marchionne did not however indicate which models will suffer the charge, adding that "everything will be clearer and more transparent with the publication of the results of the first quarter."
