Ford Kuga 2012

A teaser to anticipate in some way the news which will be presented at the IAA 2011. This is the way chosen by Ford to arouse the attention of fans on the American home models that will debut at the event in September in Germany. The cars will be exhibited Oval in what promises to be the largest stand in the history of Ford in this salon: an area of 3,200 square feet to accommodate visitors by showing them the latest technology coming from Detroit, including systems City Stop Active and Active Park Assist.

Brand new, designed new models as new, will be four, one, one that is dedicated to the teaser, a concept that might be anticipating something about the styling by Ford for the next few years, always framed in the course of Kinetic Design philosophy but asked to bring a breath of fresh air to the models in the range and those that will come.

One of the models that will debut in Germany will be the new Ford Kuga 2012. The future SUV is asked to confirm the positive response received from its predecessor in Europe and other markets. The design is inspired by that of the prototype Vertrek, while engines and equipment will reflect the new global strategy "One Ford." Another possible novelty may be the Ford B-Max.

Again the news is rather fragmentary, but the final model should not deviate much from the prototype shown at the Geneva Motor Show 2011, the critically acclaimed because of the potential for good flexibility and excellent accessibility, on the absence of central pillars. In Frankfurt will then be shown to the public the new Ford Focus ST, the compact sporty version of the American should have the 2-liter EcoBoost engine by about 250 horses and 360 Nm of torque mated to a six-speed manual transmission.

Designed in Cologne, the Focus ST promises exhilarating performance, second only to "extreme" Focus RS in the offer.
