Lotus has announced some time that the current Elise and Exige greet the North American market in late August announced that Toyota will stop production of the 1.8 2ZZ supplied to the two models overseas, leading to this choice by the English house. Who decided not to replace the unit with the new 1.6 recently launched in Europe (and we tried a few weeks ago).
The two lightweight abandon the other side of the Atlantic with three different Final Edition: Lotus Elise SC will carry out 15 copies of Final Edition, 25 Matte Black Final Edition and Exige Exige 260 Cup 30 Final Edition. The seventy units, as mentioned, are reserved for U.S. and Canada.
