Brabus has released a series of official pictures and details of the new customization package for the Mercedes SLK, which gives, as always, several cosmetic changes aimed at making the whole much more aggressive and sporty than did the standard version, with the addition of the usual (and appreciated by fans) dose of more power.
Looking at the Mercedes SLK Brabus aerodynamic you can see the two sides attached to the left and right front bumper included to improve the lift of the rear and thus to favor its adherence to the advantage of the directionality of the car. At the rear there are also a fairly compact size of the new spoiler and a new extractor, while the stainless steel exhaust system with four terminals of the new design is sound and adds a "racers" to discover German, which also shows the unusual skirts.
Then stand out, especially in side view, multi-spoke alloy wheels with diameters of 17 or 22 inches. Inside, the roadster from Stuttgart has several elements in polished stainless steel nameplates are characterized by the BRABUS logo, while the aluminum enhances the pedals, steering wheel inserts and shifter knob.
The technical changes have been about attitude, which was lowered by 30 mm and fitted with stiffer springs and short, and the ability to install a high-performance braking system. The Brabus engineers have however left out the part of the motor car, where they have taken control by implementing the ECO PowerXtra CGI can give a good amount of horses in the most without compromising reliability, thanks to the ability to control all parameters operation of the engine by activating the settings only when the most severe operating conditions of the unit allow it.
With this system, the SLK 200 BlueEFFICIENCY reach a maximum output of 210 horsepower compared to 184 standard, an increase of 30 Nm of torque, while the SLK 250 BlueEFFICIENCY gains 26 hp, reaching a total output of 230 horsepower. If this is not sufficient, there is the package Brabus B25S ECO PowerXtra CGI, including a new intercooler and electronically controlled exhaust valve capable of further extending the performance of the SLK.
