The wait is over now: Sept. 15 we will present the new Fiat Panda 2012, at the Frankfurt Motor Show. Ready to be built at Pomigliano d'Arco Campania, the third generation of best-selling car in Italy will replace the current model, produced in the Polish and fewer than 2 million copies on the market since 2003.

Recognizable thanks to the many features in common with the new one on sale in Brazil, the Fiat Panda in 2012 showed the first pictures revealed a nice design and balanced, able to meet the appreciation of the loyal audience to the historic city car designed by Giugiaro in 1980 and sold over six million copies.

The proportions are similar to those of the current model, but the lines are more rounded and help define a personality and fun-loving young man. The new Fiat Panda, expected in dealerships by early 2012, will be characterized by slightly larger size than the second generation built on the platform of the Fiat 500, extended for the occasion, will have an increased length of about 10 cm over a length total of 3.64 meters.

The width will increase by a few inches, bringing to more than 1.61 meters. The interior of the new Fiat Panda will combine the past and future as we see in the images, the compact interior of Italian presents a sharp jump in quality, with the finest materials and best combinations. Offer standard 5-seater version, the 2012 Panda ensure more space for rear passengers and a cargo area of the size larger.

And the past, where would it be? The designers decided to create a storage pocket on the dashboard similar to that found in the first generation, appreciated by all owners for the available space.
