Jaguar will use the anniversary of 50 years the E-type to celebrate the arrival of the new XE, probably presenting its concept car at the Frankfurt Motor Show. Autocar fact anticipates the arrival of the "anti-boxster" of the Jaguar as a real shock to the market.
Subject to the front engine, rear-wheel drive and the spider body, the XE might receive a different name (maybe one of the first F-Type concept of 2000) and, however, will be on sale only at the end of 2012.
